This Drone Map (“this map”) is only an alternative means for users to obtain certain information. The information provided by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("the Government") on this map, including but not limited to digital maps, mapping information, aerial photographs, facility information, geographic information ("Information"), is for general reference only and is not intended to be relied upon. No statement, representation or warranty, express or implied, is given by the Government as to its accuracy, completeness or appropriateness for use in any particular circumstances. The Government shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, misstatements or misrepresentations (express or implied), concerning any Information, and shall not have or accept any liability, obligation or responsibility whatsoever for any loss, destruction or damage (including without limitation consequential loss, destruction or damage) howsoever arising from or in respect of using, misusing, inability to use, or relying on the Information.

Users should be aware that the Restricted Flying Zones (“RFZ”) reflected in this drone map are designated by the Small Unmanned Aircraft Order (Cap. 448G). In connection to other restricted areas/ zones under other legislation or regulation such as the Air Navigation (Flight Prohibition) Order (Cap. 448E), users should refer to other maps for information.

Every effort is made to ensure this map is free of errors but there is no warrant this map or its features are either spatially or temporally accurate or fit for a particular use. This map is provided without any warranty of any kind whatsoever, either express or implied.

The Government does not warrant or represent that this map or any Information or any electronic data or information transmitted from the Government to users through this map is free of computer viruses. The Government shall not be liable for any loss, destruction or damage arising out of or in relation to any transmission from users to the Government or vice versa over the internet.

The Government shall not be responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the Information. The Government reserves the right to revise, omit, suspend or edit the Information at any time in its absolute discretion without giving any reason or prior notice to users. Before acting upon the Information, users are:
(i) responsible for making their own assessment of the Information;
(ii) advised to verify the Information by making reference, for example, to original publications, other relevant documentation and site situation; and
(iii) advised to obtain independent advice from relevant professionals.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, nothing on or provided via this map shall constitute, give rise to or otherwise imply any endorsement, approval or recommendation on the Government's part of any third party, be it a provider of goods or services.

If you are a Remote Pilot, or plan to use this map for any small unmanned aircraft (“SUA”) flight or flight planning activities, including safety and/or risk management/mitigation, please be aware that the use of this map is in conjunction with your legal, moral, and professional obligations and you may not rely on the Information distributed to you via this map as your exclusive source of safety-related information. At all times, responsibility for the safe operation of SUA shall remain with the Remote Pilot in charge of the SUA.

Remote Pilots, at all times, are solely responsible for the safe and legal use of the SUA. Nothing in this map shall be construed as to override or alter remote pilot’s personal responsibility and liability for the safe conduct of your SUA flight, and/or the execution of a SUA flight in accordance with laws, requirements and safety guidelines. Any person using or permitting the use of SUA shall comply with the Small Unmanned Aircraft Order (Cap. 448G) and all other applicable legislation in Hong Kong, including but not limited to the Telecommunications Ordinance (Cap. 106), Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), Hong Kong National Security Law and Safeguarding National Security Ordinance (Instrument A305), etc. Remote Pilot shall not engage in activities that are harmful or endanger national security.

In the event of any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version of this Terms and Conditions of Use, the English version shall prevail.

By using this map, you agree to accept unconditionally this Terms and Conditions of Use, which may be revised and/or amended from time to time by the Government without prior notice to users. Please check this Terms and Conditions of Use regularly for any revisions and/or amendments which may be made.
